Founded in 1879, St Lawrence College provides education for boys and girls aged 3 to 18. Located on the Kent coast, within easy walking distance of the sea, we are a private school set in a spacious campus housing boarding and day pupils from local, UK, and international families.

Our interest in the ERSP project stems from a desire to develop the best provision for our students and share and gain knowledge from other research-engaged educators. Our school is building a research culture and community, focusing on teaching and learning. As an accredited high-performance learning school, we not only teach traditional subjects and their content and skills but also place emphasis on soft skills and study skills to equip our students to be successful lifelong learners. Our aim is to use research-informed strategies for teaching these skills, using WALKTHRUS as our foundation.
